What happened

A rug pull scam involving cryptocurrency was reported on 6 September 2026. Automated serial rug-pull and wash-trading operation on the Base chain (chain ID 8453), running 24/7. A central treasury wallet 0x0FB30397F744F9121C4902CBAed078AFAd9B8888 funds a rotation wallet 0x0e6e91775D24D34B90e0f3d806a90705f0199999, which sends ~2.48 ETH to a fresh single-use deployer wallet roughly every 17 minutes. Each deployer creates a new ERC-20 token, adds liquidity on Uniswap V2, while ~15 coordinated bot wallets buy the token to fake volume and lure real buyers. Minutes later the deployer calls removeLiquidity and drains the whole pool, sending the proceeds (~3.1-3.4 ETH) back to the treasury. On 2026-09-06 alone there were about 49 such cycles on-chain; estimated real victim losses ~30-45 ETH per day. Example rugged token: $BaseMozz at 0xb8c6ff50ea596671871784018a2030fe1852291a. The liquidity-removal (rug) transaction was 0xac8456adbd8d55f16545d7ca8486c4545def5983dd53522ada5526b1094947ea, removing about 3.16 WETH. Other tokens launched by the same crew include 1KTO100M and PonsToken at 0x77e466A60130925A5dAa3a5cE7Fb76857b98d2E5. Wash-trading / pump bot wallets (reused daily): 0x76fF501F75147734863C9a3AF85492c8673A7f7A 0x047DC8B060506E6Ca5D0598e27b226c2A746bCE7 0x27F44322fb16c6F761FDbd4cD66357CD7037923f 0x3025102fcc0d46A0988275b7fB3A3A578f057917 0xbfE36fD493613823101fD31f45eC3A558ee45B54 0x2EFbDAa6367d361DBc058fdfd7CD0752303998B2 0x79aE5b469e370A18743118b7414D7bD830205239 0xa67897178070F01aD447E1eC84d5a2f064211F59 0x22F34EE5A93aCD3291858C48dcf9640751c2a3D4 0xb21328c4C6B0B751a846AFAEc45329Cc06DCB9d8 0x99Dd9f953d960eB51aE36f7B15fE525b97e6624C 0xeeABc021CeE11d9F906D1cBE6531766c8fe8D191 0xf32f9F92dBD00E09866C783D5E007B1b09EC79D2 0x4a8d587Ba686199C9B8F8306d187885b1525A778 Sample rug-executor (deployer) wallets from 2026-09-06: 0xa7d9DC0387159DFBae054c1bC4cd6eD830CD14b7 0x342a8Fe0b023ED5C7d5256EF37918a67e57BfcB4 0x3239093AcB2C5890F23E255891eDE133C30D5565 0x7597845dBB9d865463CbD70A1bBeE2F14194a38B 0x3896427F6C461bB30Df3d90C60442B41f57fbb21 Wallet addresses linked to this report: ethereum: 0x0FB30397F744F9121C4902CBAed078AFAd9B8888, 0x0e6e91775D24D34B90e0f3d806a90705f0199999, 0xb8c6ff50ea596671871784018a2030fe1852291a, 0x77e466A60130925A5dAa3a5cE7Fb76857b98d2E5, 0x76fF501F75147734863C9a3AF85492c8673A7f7A, 0x047DC8B060506E6Ca5D0598e27b226c2A746bCE7, 0x27F44322fb16c6F761FDbd4cD66357CD7037923f, 0x3025102fcc0d46A0988275b7fB3A3A578f057917, 0xbfE36fD493613823101fD31f45eC3A558ee45B54, 0x2EFbDAa6367d361DBc058fdfd7CD0752303998B2, 0x79aE5b469e370A18743118b7414D7bD830205239, 0xa67897178070F01aD447E1eC84d5a2f064211F59, 0x22F34EE5A93aCD3291858C48dcf9640751c2a3D4, 0xb21328c4C6B0B751a846AFAEc45329Cc06DCB9d8, 0x99Dd9f953d960eB51aE36f7B15fE525b97e6624C, 0xeeABc021CeE11d9F906D1cBE6531766c8fe8D191, 0xf32f9F92dBD00E09866C783D5E007B1b09EC79D2, 0x4a8d587Ba686199C9B8F8306d187885b1525A778, 0xa7d9DC0387159DFBae054c1bC4cd6eD830CD14b7, 0x342a8Fe0b023ED5C7d5256EF37918a67e57BfcB4, 0x3239093AcB2C5890F23E255891eDE133C30D5565, 0x7597845dBB9d865463CbD70A1bBeE2F14194a38B, 0x3896427F6C461bB30Df3d90C60442B41f57fbb21 Do not send money or cryptocurrency to anyone connected to this report.
