Angel Paws Fund scam

A online purchase scam report, targeting a consumer in Crystal River, FL, USA - 34428 with a reported loss of $25.

Narrative evidence

What happened

I received an Instagram ad from the Angel Paws Fund account showing a cat that needed life-saving eye surgery. They had several donation tiers on their site (angelpawsfund.com) that had different gifts based on your donation amount. The only way I realized this was a scam, is through checking the order page later on, and finding the site no longer exists. I looked them up online, and supposedly they consistently come back under new names, stealing videos from other creators to get donations.
