Type of Scam: Auto Warranty / PhishingCompany/Sender Name Claimed: Vehicle Service DeptPhone Number Used: 1-844-279-4915Reference / Vehicle Code: GPX1544066Form / Letter Markings: Form 9550-WARR / Official Business Penalty for Private Use $300Description:I received a fraudulent letter disguised as an official government "Final Notice" regarding a vehicle warranty expiration for a 2026 Subaru Forester. The letter used high-pressure scare tactics, fake official form names, and threatened a lapse of coverage if I did not call by September 15, 2026. When I called the number, they attempted to gather vehicle details and ultimately requested immediate payment, at which point I hung up.
