Clover Merchant Services scam

A credit cards scam report, targeting a consumer in Loomis, CA, USA - 95650.

Narrative evidence

What happened

Said they were calling from merchant services from Clover credit card processing and that I was being overcharged and asked me to download my most recent statement and email it to: [email protected] with "CS0782" in the subject line to go to Candace. She asked me to do this while on the phone with her so she could give me a confirmation code. I did not but instead googled the email address and saw that it was linked with fraudulent activity. I told her the email wouldn't go through as it was flagged as fraudulent. She then got a bit flustered. I got her phone number to her "direct line" which was also the number she was calling from and I told her I would call her back and hung up.
