"DEFENSE WARRANTY (Florda License #W922408) scam

I have received several of these letters over time. The author of these letters have my full contact information, the square footage of my house and perport to have insured my home in the past. Letters are of a threatening nature, including language such as "FINAL NOTICE", "...IMPORTANT YOU CONTACT OUR OFFICE", "...THIS IS WILL BE OUR FINAL ATTEMPT TO CONTACT YOU". "FAILURE TO CALL AND PREVENT A POTENTIAL LAPSE IN COVERAGE COULD RESULT IN YOU BEING LIABLE FOR ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH ANY HOME REPAIRS." I even have a customer ID (HDU1ACAP8524) even though I have never been a customer...and yet I was told that my coverage was expiring or had expired (they said both). I am not fooled by them and have asked several times that they not contact me again. This time I very directly and loudly told them not to contact me again...I also said that this is a campaign to scare people into thinking they owe money or that they are losing their home insurance (which is a real threat to Florida home owners) and implies an urgency some people might think real. They have a Florida license, I don't know why...and people who believe their implied threats can be scammed into buying a home warranty thinking its home owner insurance. I asked how they had my information and the man I talked to said that my mortgage company has that information and records it (apparently for public use). The mortgage company mentioned in my letter ("Success Mortfage Partners, Inc.) is not my mortgageor and has not been so for a very long time. I refinanced my home years ago with Success who immediately sold the mortgage to another company. Please enter my complaint with all the others you must have about these scammers and remove any licensing if they do not stop these tactics. Jean H. Wall
