What happened

A phishing scam involving cryptocurrency was reported on 4 September 2026. On September 3, 2026, around 11pm, I discovered that a cryptocurrency token I owned, called $KIRKIVERSARY, had been sold from my digital wallet without my authorization. I use a self-custodial crypto trading app called FOMO on the Solana blockchain, and my wallet address is HZp6TkxL2XRVNDYarpaB4X7oX3gB26kwS4XgpDXmBYMJ. I had been holding this token and did not sell it myself. Prior to this happening, I was contacted in a conversation on Discord and was sent a link by the other user. I clicked this link. I and FOMO's support team believe this link led to a phishing site or malicious wallet-connect prompt that resulted in my private key or wallet credentials being exposed to the person I was talking to. I still have the conversation history from Discord, but he unaddressed me so it only shows up with my texts. including the other user's username and user ID, and I believe the same or a related individual may also use the TikTok username "jlne7762.) Shortly after this conversation, my $KIRKIVERSARY tokens were sold in at least two separate transactions and converted into USDC, all without my knowledge or consent. I contacted FOMO's support team, who reviewed the transactions on-chain and confirmed in writing that the transfers were signed using my private key from outside their app, and that because their platform is non-custodial, only someone with my private key could have moved the funds. They confirmed the transaction was final and could not be reversed. I have since traced the transactions on the Solana blockchain explorer Solscan. The specific transaction that sold a large portion of my tokens has the signature 2zMx5XFzniAWbKNeWDpscuGLaDX7x6B8ujsvcxoWG9jkNk2vRfpUey2hzMfEQqb3B2dmq28ykWki27Dhyv3duh7s. My wallet, which previously held these funds, now shows a balance of $0 and the account no longer exists on-chain, indicating it was fully emptied. I have not yet been able to identify the final external wallet address that ultimately received the funds, as the tokens were converted through multiple swaps before leaving my wallet. Unexplicably, my account on FOMO is still visible as one of the holders, but there is nothing under my wallet, although i am logged in under the same account. The estimated value of the stolen tokens at the time of the theft was approximately $969 USD. I am providing this report and have screenshots available of the Discord conversation, FOMO's support correspondence, and blockchain transaction records as supporting.
