Jefferson County Server Process Office scam

I received a phone call from a local number. When I answered the caller identified herself as Tiffany from the Jefferson County Server Process Office and stated they needed to schedule an appt for me to be served legal papers this morning. I asked what the papers were for as I do not have any knowledge of anything I would be sued for. I was told they don’t have that information but advised me to call LNA (or L and A) law office, provided a phone number and a case number and said they could hold off on me being served for one hour only if I wanted to call to pay and resolve the debt. When I tried to Google the law firm and phone number provider, I found a page on both the BBB as well as other scam tracking sites that this is a scam. I did not follow up with the number after learning this. The number I was called from also is not connected to the local process office at all.
