A counterfeit product scam report, targeting a consumer in CT, USA - 06053 with a reported loss of $13.
Narrative evidence
What happened
The website for Jordan Maynard advertised a horseshoe wind chime in which they show pictures of Jordan, the disabled veteran, hammering away on a horseshoe providing the perception that he is molding an actual horseshoe into a heart shaped wind chime. However the wind chime received was made out of plastic- though customer service instructed it is made out of “soft metal”. Soft metal or not, it was a two piece bit of crap with the worst chimes I have ever heard!

Amos wood carved birdhouses
$80 lost
Amos advertised wooden hand carved birdhouses. They sent me some plastic resin smaller than advertised. To return this item, I would have to send it back to Hong Kong.
