polytip.cc scam

A fake crypto project scam involving cryptocurrency was reported against the website polytip.cc on 6 September 2026. Was referenced to a site Polytip.cc to earn $1000 with a code "Musk" via an IG video that was sent to me from someone I know. I like using prediction markets on RobinHood so I gave it a chance. This is a prediction market investment site. In order to "verify" the account- a bitcoin wallet to bitcoin wallet transfer of $100 had to be deposited. The verification also included pictures of my Drivers License and email. When I got the "verification" check symbol and saw the $103 Bitcoin deposit in the Polytip.cc account - I tried to withdraw out of the $4000 available that I had "earned" with prediction market trading- it denied the withdrawal and asked for an additional $200 to approve the withdrawal. When I followed the Bitcoin wallet address through a lookup site : The address the initial $100 deposit has gone to is: bc1q3cutltjn6e9cfdq4229xwpr56ykdyg8p4qatm5. The site says that is at a $0 balance.
