Rogers scam

I rec'd a call from a person representing Rogers Communications. He told me I was eligible for a new phone and bc I've been a loyal customer I would get a 25% while he was my account manager over the 24 month contract. My current cell phone is paid off, so I am up for a new phone if I want to do so. He also said he was from marketing. My daughter's partner did door to door marketing for Rogers, so I thought it was plausible. He said I would be getting an Apple Air phone. He got me to go into my Rogers app select a new device. He said that they didn't have the phone in stock, so they would have to have it shipped from the warehouse. He then told me to select a Samsung phone and it would get switched out in the warehouse. The phone arrived the next day, and wouldn't you know it, it was the Samsung. He called to confirm I got the phone and told him it was the wrong one. He got me to go back onto my Rogers acct and initiate a phone return. He had me print out a shipping label and take a picture of it along with taking pictures of sides of the box that had the model, UPC, etc. He asked if I could send it right away so he could get the correct one sent back out. I know I should have listened to the little voice in my head that was skeptical. But, I didn't. I had lots of other things going on and I let my guard down. After I sent the phone back it was radio silent. I went back and looked at the return address at it was a house. So, at this time, I'm on the hook for the retail price of the phone. I urge anyone who has this type of offer to call Rogers before ordering anything. I decided to go the email address he gave me bc now I was realizing I was scammed.
