Unknown utility scammer scam

A utility scam report, targeting a consumer in Taunton, MA, USA - 02780.

Narrative evidence

What happened

I have received 9 voicemail messages (so far), during the past 2 weeks, from someone who says their name is Luis and that they are a consumer advocate and energy consultant "in my area" who is calling regarding possible savings and discounts that have not been applied correctly to my electric bill. They try to create a sense of urgency, saying they "need" to review this with me before the next billing cycle so that the discounts can be applied and I can avoid being over charged. They ask me to call them at 888-368-4081 (in some of the earlier messages it sounded like 888-368-1081). All 9 calls have come in from different numbers, across multiple area codes. I reported it to my municipal electric company. I will obviously just keep ignoring the calls but it's very annoying!
