Advantage Credit Union scam

A debt collections scam report, targeting a consumer in ID, USA - 83634.

What happened

The email comes addressed as a legal notice headed with loan information. Email states that you are in default of a payday loan. Company name is Advantage Credit Union which stands for association of original creditor and settlement loan company. States "this is all about an internet payday loan which was borrowed by you from one of our sub payday loan company." Gives you 3 days to pay or appear before the presiding Provincial Court Judge at New York District Court. The email has your name, the amount due, your social security number, the city listed as the state and the state listed as the city. There are many spelling errors and the email ask you to reply back to them.
