Eloan Personal scam

A debt collections scam report, targeting a consumer in NV, USA - 89120 with a reported loss of $700.

Narrative evidence

What happened

On February 22 I received documents from ***** ********* for a loan of $7000. Their email claimed that they did not ask for money up front from their customers, so when I was asked to do the following things for them, I should have seen red flags. On March 1 I contacted ***** about my loan and told them that I would only need $3000. They said that the interest would be 10%, $3300 to be paid back over 28 months. $121 a month would be taken out on the 25th of the month. It sounded legit at first. I gave them my online banking information, and since it was an "unsecured personal loan" they were going to put $200 into my account to make sure it was me. I watched my balance jump from $4.12 to $204.12. Then I had to go to the grocery store and buy $200 in ****** gift cards and call them back with the numbers on the back of the cards. Then I was told that I would receive another deposit and to call them when I checked my account the next day. When I checked my account I saw a deposit for $698, but then the deposit was backed out. I called ***** to verify, and they told me that they only hold the money for so long, and since I didn't call them early enough, they pulled the deposit. Then they told me that they could fix it if I gave them $150 for the loan insurance on ITunes gift cards. So I did that. Read them the numbers on the back of the cards. They told me to wait in the parking lot for 5 minutes. Then they asked for another $200 for "processing." That's where I drew the line. I told them that I did not have any more money to give them. I asked why they didn't tell me about the fees the day before, and they kept avoiding the question, telling me "Mam, everything will be okay. Just do the $200, and your loan will be approved." I told them ABSOLUTELY not were they getting anymore money, to refund me the $150, and if they didn't, I was calling the BBB, the police, and my lawyer. They said the $150 woud be back in my account on March 4, and it wasn't, and my account is negative. The bank has closed my account because they flagged the $698 deposit as fraud. I'm afraid that they may have gotten into another account of mine and has managed to process checks written from my cousin in Oregon to me, in which her bank has deemed fraudulent and has closed her account as well. They go by James Anderson and Jordan Harris but have Middle Eastern accents. I have read about these people since my experience and have seen many stories that others have shared in regards to this company. Ironically these phone numbers are no longer in service, but there are ways to track them. I hope that someone reads this and can help me find a way to stop these people. I have also filed a claim with AIG in regards to identity theft.
