UnityCare Charity Foundation scam

I am going through major financial difficulties and am desperate. I went to a couple financial assistance pages. And of course got dozens of other sites contacting me. One was UnityCare Charity Foundation. They claimed to be able to assist me. I actually provided my SSN, pictures of myself and my I. D. seemed very legit and I was desperate. They asked for a guaranter that won't be financially responsible for anything but that could confirm,y hardship. So we did the same with my wife. Then they asked for another persons information. I started getting suspicious and starting asking questions and made inquiries. My google inquiries said they "are not a recognized, tax-exempt 502(c)(3) public charity" I asked questions about it to UnityCare Charity Foundation. They said "our foundation is registered in the state of New York and has been issued a ITIN (89-9852245). No EIN . I looked up ITIN and EIN. and asked more questions the of course said they're legit. I told them I'm not sending yet another persons information so they said well we'll go ahead and send me $2800.00 all I had to do is set up a found.com account and allow them to link to it. I have all our texts plus I screenshot the conversation. I also went to their site and found a woman, Linda Cabrera, who just went through the same thing with them. Gave all the info and set up the found account, but has not received the promised assistance. I did not set up the found account, but gave out my and my wife's personal information. It seemed real because they have a very legit looking verification process. Also as I said they claimed to be based out of New York but site information shows Indiana. Also I asked how long they've been In business, they said 2 or 3 years helping people yet their site information shows they that the site started in July 2026
